Integral concrete color offers consistent color throughout the entire concrete pour. Integral color is a synthetic iron-oxide liquid or granular mix that delivers an even distribution of color throughout the concrete. Integral color for concrete has become very popular because of its versatility in combining colors to create results such as antiquing or vibrant accent contrasts.
Great Plains Specialty Concrete Products, LLC offers granular integral color products from Solomon Colors’ ColorFlo® and Brickform® Liquid Color™ charts.
Solomon Colors’ granular integral color is a great choice for coloring any decorative concrete project including pool decks, patios, walkways, and driveways in residential and commercial construction. This granular material is manufactured from synthetic iron-oxides for the ultimate in color consistency and UV resistance. Unlike traditional dry powder, Solomon’s granular integral color olor is dust-free and does not pack up into “mini-balls” that can burst late in the mixing process and create a color flooding in an isolated portion of a pour.
Sixty-four standard colors, plus hundreds of alternative color options are produced by Great Plains using our in-house Solomon QuickColor® dispensing system. The QuickColor® system is computer-controlled for precise color component dispensing of even the most intricate color formulas. The final product is packaged in a fully re-pulpable bag for fast loading in a ready mix truck. The bag dissolves and the granular color quickly and evenly mixes throughout the concrete load.
